Football:
Our football program normally starts the first of September and ends at the end of October with a champion crowned for each league. You can search our CALENDAR for the actual dates for our football league. Win/loss record during the season will be used to set brackets for the tournament scheduled at the end of the season. Teams will be recruited by coaches with the help of the Optimist Sports Director. If interested in playing and looking for a team to play on, contact our Sports Director Dennis Reedy, 785-640-0834 or send email. Equipment is provided by the players or team and is inspected prior to the start of the game schedule.
Leagues are organized by grade level as follows:
1st/2nd – Flag football
3rd/4th: 2 divisions
5th/6th: 2 divisions
